About us

Niram Neela was born with an idea of bringing the traditional handwoven six yards back in town. Our quaint store in Trivandrum started back in 2016, with very few weaves and even fewer sarees. We still are small and happily so to make sure every customer has a close personal experience. 

Falling in love with the six yards happened by chance, a few years back. It has been quite a learning journey meeting and connecting with the various weavers and artisans across India. The entire process has been an intriguing one and so worth it. Do not doubt! We are still learning.

Our store is an all handloom saree store. We work with weavers across India to create and curate a selection of traditional and contemporary designs. At Niram Neela, we ensure every customer connect with the weave and learn a little about the weave.Though there are limitations in interacting with the customer when it's an online platform, we would still love to hear your queries all out.

We have our heart in the right place. While stringently following ethical practices, we work hard to leave as little a trail as possible. Our little store runs plastic free with eco-friendly packaging and upcycle paper and cloth waste.
